meal time...

My corn is about 3 months old, I have had it for a bit more than a month now (this is my first snake). He eats very well no problem at all. Lately I have started to feed it 2 pinkies every 5 to 7 days, after 3 days it comes out of hidding and I can see traces of fecees in its vivarium. It seems ok. My question is, is this to much food at once , should I go back to just 1 pinkie or is it time to change size of prey. I have read a couple of books but they have different sugestions about feeding ( size, amount, timming...). I do not want to force feed it, but I do want it to grow a bit faster, it is about 14 inches long by a about 3/8 to 1/2 inche in dia.
