Unhappy help her tail is falling off!!!!

Hello
Have an 8 week old corn (was a non-feeder but ok now)which was doing great until she somehow scrapped herself on her tail and it became sore. Advice from vet was to clean it and use an antispetic cream. I did this in addition to some baytril. It started to dry up nicely and became apparent she would lose tip of tail which she has. But now it looks like her tail is beginning to dry out and going to fall off. Bit worrying as this is only about 0.5 cm away from her vent-the tail in between looking ok. She looks happy too. what to do? Will she be ok with no tail?
