Help/Opinions

Ok... I've got a few questions to ask about here.
But first an update!
I finally got into contact with Rodentpro and will be ordering my first bulk feeders! Hooray for tax returns!

Also... I contacted Tim from Vividreptiles and made good on my promise to get one of his bairds! He's going through what he has and is going to pick out a female for me.

I have two snakes coming from Joni Garcia, a nice normal het Bloodred/Lavender ph Hypo, and my Miami X Abbott's girl (And congrats Joni! I noticed all her brothers and sisters got taken!).

Also, I made a purchase from reptilegeeks.com. It's an F1 Jungle, and the seller suspects she may be gravid. He'd bred her to his bloodred a little over a week ago, so I MAY have my FIRST CLUTCH on my hands! (BTW, I made sure to ask him why exactly he's getting rid of a girl he's only had for a few months, even after going through the trouble of breeding her. He told me he got some albino hognoses for a good deal, and wants to go in that direction, so needs the money)

This is where I come to my first question...
He says he witnessed a breeding between this Jungle and the bloodred. But how likely is it that she's gravid? I can't imagine he'd put them together any farther after that knowing he was selling her.
So when she gets here, should I try putting her with my sunglow to make sure she's gravid? Or will that be in some way dangerous? I'd put her with my bloodred, but there'd be no way to tell whose babies it'd be..
So any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Also, due to all of these new additions, we've decided to move everyone from the extra bedroom.
We have a very large walk in pantry. We don't even use all the kitchen cabinets as it is, and all the junk we keep in there can be put in the ACTUAL storage room. (god I love all this storage in this lil apartment)...
The shelving in this place make it a great spot for all our reptiles. We like to keep them in glass terrariums (the pet store down the road gives them to us super cheap, as they're just leaky aquariums to them. We clean em out and sanitize them and fix them up and they're great for $3/4 dollars a 15- gal...)
The ONLY problem with this pantry is that it has... NO ELECTRICAL SOCKETS!
I imagine for a heating element, we'll have to run an extension cord from the kitchen. Has anyone had to do that? There's a single light bulb in the room... any suggestions??

Also, I'm changing my heating method. Since now I've been using a very costly space heater... and our energy bill skyrockets from it, I think. Also, it recently broke, so the exact temperature is a hit or miss. Does heat tape take up less energy? How do I use it? Can I put some on every shelf and have them all controlled with one thermostat??

Oh oh so much to do and so little time left! I'm slightly thankful for the cold weather, it gives me an excuse to wait to have everyone shipped!

Thanks guys!
