So, I've seen how people react to regurges, and the advice they give to people who ask about them, and quite honestly it confuses me a bit. When I have a snake regurge, I immediately look at what could have caused it. If I can determine with reasonable certainty that the regurge was caused by an over-sized meal, a temp drop, or stress, I treat it as a random occurrence and continue business as usual with no special treatment for the animal. If a repeat performance occurs, I then look into parasites and illness, and postpone feeding for atleast a week.
So, why the completely freaked out response from some people? Very rarely have lost snakes post-regurge, and the few that I have died within a few days of the regurge, making my response to invalid.
