yellow/grey intergrade

Hi there, well not sure if I am in the right place to show Hiss off but I will anyway
Hiss is a yellow/grey intergrade-apparently called Gulf Hammock Rat Snake
He has loads of character-loves glasses(spectacles)and will suspend himself on your ead and specs! He is very powerful already, approx 2 years old. I got him as a some students did breeding and didn't want the babies anyway I 'rescued' Hiss.

Wow.. there's one that not even the progeny predictor could tell you. It'll be a grab bag clutch!

well will have to wait and see...
His yellow is really coming thru at the mo, getting a handsome lad and a strong one! Bit thin at the moment as he decided to hibernate over winter and not eat for weeks on end. Hope he sheds soon as he is looking a bit ragged!!!!

That's a nice looking lad! But every Gulf H. ratsnake I can find on the net is grey with balck only... see for example http://www.gherp.com/kingsnake/scien...illiamsi,2.jpg

I guess this is a cross with a yellow rat perhaps?
