Work at a vet clinic for one week and you will never be shocked by any kind of restraint used on an animal ever again.

As one of the 1st to ever breed Jungle Corns in Canada I would have to say that the muzzle seems over kill .... I have bred male King to female Corn and male Corn to female King with no problems either way ...I got great breeding from both the female King and the female Corn and good sperm counts from both males .....The trick is having the time to watch and play around abit .....and not just throw your King and Corn together ..... I have to agree with UK ....If you know the ins and outs of breeding Kings you can breed hybrids without the use of "muzzles" or anything else like that ......The best way I know is to tease the pairs with their own species and then "quickly" swap out the males ...this can take several tries and like I said allot of time ...Thats why now I breed Jungle to Jungle ..Its just way easier .....

Best of luck with your breeding I hope you produce beautiful Jungles

So you mean you bred Jungle Corns and didn't have to use a muzzle??? That is absolutely fantastic news Annette.
I guess some people are able to pick up on their animals behaviour before they have to resort to such drastic measures. Congrats again, and your babies look excellent as always this year. Can't wait to pick some up off you.
