Just to echo, real pretty and real nice clean baackground. With your cinnamons, ever consider (or have you already) using a crimson to try to keep the background that silvery gray?

actually I have thought about that

I think it could create some very nice cinnamons.
I have actually thought about getting a nice crimson or hypo miami with some of the money from this season.
If and when I try this I will post updates.

Jimmy mentioned..

I did a rootbeer to crimson breeding this year.. Rootbeer came from Miami X Creamsicle and the Crimson came out of Kathy Loves line, with a tie to emoryi blood in past generations..
Who knows what is going to show in the pippies..

Tim

so the rootbeer was het amel (cream) and bred to the crimson?
So you will get approximately 50% rootbeers het hypo and 50% rootbeers het amel het hypo right?
It would be nice to get the ones that look the most Miami and breed them together to see what the hypos (cinnamons) would look like

Jimmy asked the following..

so the rootbeer was het amel (cream) and bred to the crimson?
The crimson has the possibility of being het amel as well.. But you have hit it on the nose as far as understanding what I bred... Trevor ( Lefty Mousilini ) did the original rootbeer cross ( Estimation of 75% for genetics in my group.. ) of the animals I now have remaining, I believe his rootbeer keeper he kept showed a lot of nice maroon.. I am pretty excited to see what shows up in my group this time around..

If they don't sell privately, I will wholesale these off, so that is a fair warning and heads up.. Here Jimmy, a link to the rootbeer project and its potential future.. Last breeding this year..
