Wow! neat to see pics of that snake! Thank you for sharing! I have some gray rat by cornsnake cross babies and am curious to see how they turn out. Your snake from what I'm seeing sure looks just like someone took a gray rat and gave it lots of yellow! Very interesting!

Hiss is so sweet. And growing so fast its silly. Have put a pick in of my mystery snake(also in morph thread) as he is meant to be a corn, but I am convinced theres a fair bit of rat in him, also quite aggressive-what do you think? If he has more rat in him perhaps your babies could be like this?

hard to say...

however, there are those who doubt that there are very many pure guttata out there anyhow. That most snakes have a bit of mixed ancestary.

So it'd hard to say, but that eye, is that always like that, it seems to set out on that snake, like a yellow rats eye would...perhaps there is yellow rat in him. that would explain the attitude. BUT! I've seen nasty corns, they do exist! So...can't totally rely on bad attitude either...

Well he always has these googly eyes and as you say they do stick out! He also has a really strong muscle tone like my Hiss.

Interesting yellow/grey rat hybrid - amazing coloration. The younger one does look like yellow-rat background but unfortunately it is often impossible to be sure with intergrades and hybrids,
