I'm keeping 1.1 creams from this group. These two are the most orange of them all. The rest looked more red/orange amel. Their dad is an orange candy cream. The male is Axiom and the female is Paneer. If anyone likes Indian food, you've probably eaten paneer. Its Indian cheese. I think Axiom's pics are first, then Moose (see below) and Paneer is last. Unless I'm looking at the pattern on their tails, I can't tell the creams apart yet.
I'm also keeping a 0.1 rootbeer, Moose. Just looking at her head marking will tell you where the bright idea for that name came from! Another reason I'm keeping her is out of guilt. After most of the clutch had hatched, there were still five or six that hadn't pipped, so I carefully snipped them to check. Three were DIE. Of the others, I was being as careful as I could, but the scissors slipped and cut into another egg that I *thought* had already hatched. Nope. I cut into a non-pipped egg. I hoped I hadn't done any damage to the baby. Sure enough, when she hatched, there was a gash in her side from my stupidity. It was deep but it didn't go any deeper than muscle. I put antibiotic ointment on it and hoped for the best. She healed quicky. Now, there's no sign of where that injury was and she's an eating machine!
