Ok I am guessing this is not a very common hybrid then? I did see one on Kathy LOves site but that was all I could find after hours of searching.. Has anyone on here worked with these hybrids? I plan to the following season..
I am not aware of anyone who has tried this project, but having had Mexican milks I can see where it would be a bit of a challenge. The ones we had very very aggressive during breeding - lots of biting and likely wouldn't take much to get them to switch to kill mode during breeding - even though they are a lot smaller than a mature corn. Not a hybrid I would want to attempt. Best of luck in finding them if you are intersted in this one though - would likely be quite pretty - similar to Corndurans but smaller,

Thank you for the advice I didn't know their breeding behaviour until now, so thank you. He is such a calm snake normally lol I wouldnt guess it. I will still be trying it though, I will be very careful and they definatly will not be left alone without me observing them. This will be a big challenge I am sure. I have a male Mexican Milk that I plan on breeding with my female Amel Corn. He is nowhere near breeding size yet though
If you do want to try it you will most likely need a female mexican milk to get the guy in the mood, if you know what I mean. I dont think over-aggressiveness will be a problem. I know others have had different situations, but I have never personally observed opiophagy in annulata, so personally I am not to worried about that, especially seeing as the male mexican milk is as big around as my thumb and 3 feet long and the corn is twice as big around and 4 feet 6 inches.
