first, let me apologize for starting something with the 'snowglow".. since I'm new to this all I know is what I'm told.. which is the main reason I have been coming here... hoping to learn from people more experienced than myself.. but every time I post a comment or ask a question.. it seems that ridicule results.
If a snow hatches, then develops amel colors after a couple months.. what should it be called?? Yes, it IS an amel, but is it considered a normal amel?? besides, it seems there are at least 2 names for every type and color in existence so far... how many names are there for all the different snows already?? and isn't one of the goals of selective breeding to find new colors and patterns ??I guess I shouldn't even mention the striped anery male that gets more pink as he gets older....
anyway, once again, I apologize....

Ok everyone calm down, a snowglow is nothing really different and shouldn't be called anything other than an amel. I don't even know for sure it they are the product of a pairing between a snow and a sunglow. Ben Siegal would never answer my emails as to the genetics of these guys. And since he buys snakes at wholesale and resells, I doubt he even knows. Even if its a cross between a snow and a subglow, that would make it nothing more than an amel het for anery. I am assuming Ben thought he had something new because of the way they looked at first and gave them a name. In fact it is very common for amels to develop their colors late, giving them a snow appearance.

So how have you been lately AZcowgirl? I haven't seen you in awhile. But I am usually there on fridays
