yay!! more snakes!!!

omg.. we are SO addicted ... 3 weeks ago I bought a male rosy ratsnake and a female black rat, both have been bred once, so we'll be having babies next year.. and yesterday I bought a pair of Abbott Okeetees and a female Miami phase that will all be ready in another year... when we add them to the existing lot of babies/yearlings.. yikes.. my head is spinning..so we now have 18 corns &/or rats with one Bairds/Okeetee cross..
all in all ...
males; anery A, anery striped, snow, blizzard, rosy rat, lavender,Okeetee
females; anery B, normal motley/stripe,normal, normal zigzag,Okeetee, amel Okeetee,black rat,snowglow,amber, Baird/Okeetee, Miami phase
All I can say is,help???? lol the male anery stripe is high pink, so we'll be trying to do something with that, and the normal motley stripe female and the lavender or the striped male, and... omg... my head is spinning again.
As soon as the holidays are over, I'm posting new pix of everyone..
Thanks again for all the help everyone!!!!

Now I may be mistaken......but I believe it is a cross of a corn snake and a creamsicle (corn x emoryi) that represents the look of a snow. Again, I am not positive so somebody may come along with a better definition. The only other thing I can think of would be a Sunglow that was typed in wrong....and that would be a selectively bred Amel that shows no white.

Hey AZcwgirlinVegas.... I think I know you lol.. Do you buy your snakes at the snake shop ?? If so I am the corn breeder that always hangs out up there. WE both have snowglows. Snowglows are nothing special really.. I think Ben Seigal who our babies came from nicknamed them that because the way they looked when they where hatchlings. They where basically just amels that did not have thier colors in yet. They have over time though became some very nice looking amels. My theory is that their parents where a snow and a sunglow, hence where he got the name.
I don't remember seeing the baird/okeetee, can you post a pic of it
Ok and just so I know if you are who I think you are lol, did you have a cornsnake that bit you a while back on your back?

lol- to answer everyone's question, the snowglow is just a cross between a snow and a sunglow, so as in the previous post it's an amel- but I don't think they look quite normal..but then again, I really don't know much... I have LOTS to learn
yes, that was me that got bit...lol
I don't have any pics of the baird/okeetee yet, but thay've all grown so much I was thinking about taking some new ones this week. We "borrowed" Sarah's male black rat to breed to our female(het for albino!!)- our male rosy rat lost a bunch of weight during brumation and doesn't seem interested. Still waiting on the Boas, and we got a pair of bearded dragons and should be having eggs in 2-4 weeks.. yay!! oh, and our newest baby, a female albino black rat.. omg, she is gorgeous!!

Am I the only one who thinks that sometimes the naming gets a little crazy?

If snoglow is an anery creamsicle - that makes 3 different names for the emoryi x corn hybrid that I am aware of (rootbeer, creamsicle, snowglow). Are there others?

I hate to sound like a party pooper, but there comes a point where it really starts to seem a little over the top.

Ah - no emoryi in it.
So it's a fifth designation for an amel -

We have:
amel
reverse okeetee
candycane
sunglow
and now snowglow

5 different names for a single homo gene pair. I guess the fifth is homo gene pair het for anery.
