Will produce my own hets for a soon to be long-running Okeetee Motley project....starting from the ground up and going from there.
Will also try the impossible of reproducing a Paradox/Calico/leaking pigment offspring...or even if it's just some possible keepers to try again in 2011.
And finally, if the pairings work out as planned.....some pretty killer, non-locale Okeetees/Lookatees with Abbotts influence.
All the pairings are of virgin breeders and most have unknown hets....so there could be some surprises. Good luck to everybody this season and here's to Mr. Murphy staying far away.

Ok, it is an intergrade pairing, but for some it is just as evil LOL
I bred my speckled king to my albino striped california, to see what happens in F2 with the striping versus the speckling.
I'd be interested in knowing in what they look like on the underside of the tail.
Two clutches of my banded amel X wc banded male produced all banded young - but some were very dark under the tail.
I'm up in northern california and every king I've found has been banded and has banded underside of tail.
Apparently - banded offspring from striped heritage often have dark underside of the tail -
vs
Those are syblings, btw.
The one with banding underside of tail got mom's beautiful yellow and dad's fishnet banding - the one with dark underside got dad's cream and mom's cleaner bands.
Cal King pattern genetics is very complex - but it would be neat to know what's going on - and note the underside of the tail of parents vs offspring.
Anyway - I'd be curious to see what the underside of the tail of your F1 intergrades look like. I'm curious about what the underside of the tail of my F1 cal king X mbk will look like - as it is the same female that produced dark undersides when on some young when paired with a WC male from locality where the tail is always banded on underside (about a 50/50 mix).
Seeing what happens in intergrades and hybrids may help understand pattern genetics to a greater degree (and may not) - speckled X cal king sounds like a neat intergrade.

not a bad little collection. Yes I know Bart "Horridus" Very well and suspected that yours might have come from him. But i expected them to be neos not him selling the adults.
I was hoping that perhaps there would be an update here? I would REALLY love to see some of the babies. I only have 2 corns (creamsicle and a bloodred) and am not "allowed" to get more, but the right hybrid could change that!
but I'm still waiting for everything to hatch.
My stripe creamsicles should hopefully start hatching in seven to ten days.
and from there the hatches will be spread out all the way through early August.
I will gladly post pics when they start hatching
nothin but bad news here. i had both my pueblacorns lay slugs and the other hybrids never became gravid or i missed the window for ovulation. to top it off my "old reliable" reabsorbed her eggs . as far as anything else i have i either gave the year off or they didnt take.
