Nice female and interesting choices for her. Have you had much luck with alterna crosses in the past? Certainly the butter motley will provide some fun in the next generation.

I have not tried the cross in the past, this will be the first year breeding this female. I will use the bait and switch method to get the alterna male to breed. I plan on using the butter motley as a backup. Any normal colored offspring will be from the alterna and any amels will be from the butter mot, so I will know liniage and hets.
