It looks as if it would be quite painful, but something about the nose doesn't look right. If pressed, I'd say someone was playing in photoshop. Still a great picture though, I suppose. (Not for the guy who got bit, if he did get bit that is.)

I wish I'd been able to get pics the few times I've had our snakes try to eat a finger or a hand. But they always let go rather quickly, or by the time the camera is in the same room they've figured out that I'm not all that tasty. Oh well, evetually I'll get a pic of a snake biting me - it's a mandatory type pic that you have to have on hand to prove you have experience... lol

Here's my CCCorns Sunkissed named "Miss Divet" doing her usual for the camera. As a hatchling at CCCorns, she rubbed a dent in her nose... so, I thought the name of Miss Divet fit her perfectly.

This is the only one I can recall ever taking a picture of. Then again the chewing and biting lasted for over 3 mins, long enough for me to grab my camera and snap some shots. It also took ice cold vodka to get him to let me go too, running water from the faucet never phased him.

Just stumbled across these older pics. This is the worst bite I've ever received from a snake.... nothing like being attacked by a cat.

Hey Joni, do you mind if I borrow a couple of your biting pics, for a slide show I'm doing for class?

No... I don't mind at all if you use some of my biting pics. Borrow away.
