I have, already, posted photo's of one of these pairing in the Breeding/Egg Section. However, another is perfectly acceptable!
This lady is refered to as - Lavender 'Frenchie'. Such an unusual name considering that she was bred by a Frenchman
And, of course, we have to place a photo of - Lavender U.K...... No, I cannot think of a suitable name for this one either !
Each lady has some interesting features to offer their respective progeny.......&, of course, all Lavenders will be 100% het. Hypo. from the handsome male.
The last lady, just recently mated, will produce Hypo Lavenders as she is a daughter of the male.
Ahhh, I can visualize the 'Keeper' shelf being over-run with favourites this year.
Thanks to everyone.............I too hope for some brilliant hatchlings this year.
Most of the 2007 Breedings are to new ladies (i.e. youngsters that have been Imported since 2004).
As with the Lavender ladies, we do not know of the potential recessive genes that they may / may not be carrying.........so, it will be fun to see what progeny is produced.
Arjan.........you made me laugh, what's with the shopping kart?
And as for 'Frenchie'.............yus, she is quite a favourite with a few people. It's that strange combination of pink with the dark saddles, we shall have a time trying to figure out what inheritance has produced such a beauty. Pity that the Frenchman did not speak any English.

I think i need one when all corns are going on sale at your place
Both fortunately as unfortunately there is a very large puddle between me and the States otherwise i would have needed multiple shopping carts
