And so it begins...........

Yup, the eggs started to 'pip' yesterday............well, to be precise 1 egg started to pip!

This morning there were 2 eggs, I have the feeling that this clutch is not going to be super fast at coming into our world

The mating will 'prove out' if the female is, indeed, Carmot het Amel as she has been mated to our Butter Stripe male.

I think we have one of each, i.e. Butter Motley & Carmot.

Have a look at these guys.........I know it's a little difficult as they are not being very co-operative, however, the egg on the bottom right looks like a blonde nose to me

Yup, now all I have to do is wait a little longer.

Number 1 - Carmot

Here is our 1st hatchling of the 2007 Breeding Season........quite a looker:-

A varied dorsal pattern here, as one would expect.

The fact that he / she is, also, 'het' for Stripe is an added bonus

Ya Caroline,

Thanks for the compliment on 'toots'.

It's this waiting thang...........one sure develops a real 'patience' when dealing with reptile eggs.

I can't wait to see the rest either

a recognizable blonde nose........actually, this is another egg which has, recently, slit.

So, we have 2 out of 5 Butter Motley at this time.
