The Variable Lavenders

Whilst many adore the subtle variations that abound in the corn cultivars there's not a lot, in my mind, that can seriously challenge the Lavender group.

This morphs colour presents from the pale ghostly pink/peach to the wild strong lavender & then the dark 'black' lavender.

The dark lavender is gaining in popularity, & each prefers a certain colour for their own reasons.

I showcase here a few of our 2007 'Keepers' & I mean a few, there are more.......but, not yet in this thread.

Also, included are a couple of Hypomelanistic Lavender. Both male & female are from Anubis (Hypo Lavender male) x Frenchie (Lavender het Hypo female).

The others are a combination from Plasma / Lavender Stripe & Hypo Lavender progeny.

I will add futher photo's as the weeks progress.

Lex

Both Frenchie and Anubis are exceptional animals, as are their offspring. Im shocked I dont have any lavenders. I like both the paler animals and the very dark ones.

Thank you for your very kind comments folks

I tell ya these hatchlings demand so much of my time that the reality of retaining a good number of 'hold backs' brings new meaning to the word tired

I have, today, selected another few photo's of the remaining Hypo Lav / Lavender '07's & will post soon.

Galen.........your statement is overwhelming, thank you for your generous observations.

Full siblings to the female in the last photo.

Quite some difference between this trio.
