Breeding #37: Okeetee Motley project corn X Okeetee

Didn't get a great pic with the female in it, he's huge and completely covered her in more ways than one.

She looks much like the female Okeetee mot I picked up from Clint last year. I would love to see some thicker borders on those!

I absolutley love seeing this project progress.

If Carol had not taken it on I don't know what would have happened to it.

I plan to keep it going, too. I should get a male from this clutch.

That's GREAT!

It's a tough project. I didn't get a lot of babies from them either, making even harder.

Ya and the interesting thing is, the more I look at this female and the more I look at her kids, I want to test her against "diffusion" also. In the breeding pic you can really see her sides have changed.

The female that started my project came from Kathy Love's line. I bought her from a guy that bought her from Kathy. Luckily, he had Kathy's # with her. I contacted Kathy and she told me that she was possible het Bloodred as well as possible het Motley. (I don't remember if I tried to prove her as het Bloodred or not.)
