It will be interesting to see if the bloodlines are compatible.
I will try breeding a pied sided from Don to the female Anery
pied sided? that i got from brad's stock.
We should be breeding in a week or two.I will keep you updated.

I did post results a little while back. The babies from that particular pairing were all normal Bloodreds.
I will hold back a couple to see what happens when bred to each other.
This Anery A female that i used was from Brad McDonald.
This animal does not seem to be compatible with Don S's line of
Pied sided Bloods.
Thanks Rob

Thank you Rob. I was interested as I have a male clutchmate from Michelles WhiteSided, & while I don't have pied, I have my pair that carry the pied gene, also from Brad McDonald lines, that I was thinking of one year pairing them up to just see what happens.
Maybe I'll be better off waiting until I grow out some full pieds from these 2 in the years to come , ... Thank you for the responce
Did anybody cross McDonald Pied Blotched with the Pied Sided Linie directly ? Without the Anery Gene ?!
I believe (don't hold me to it though) that Rob Stevens (Bayou Reptiles) has bred a McDonald to an SMR. I am not sure if Don S. has done the same thing as well. Walter Smith may even have done it before both of them as he was involved in the beginning.........just speculation on my part though. I believe these are the top three names in the business recently that have been messing with the pieds.
Forgive me if I got any of the information above incorrect......was just basing my reply on previous threads and posts that I can remember.

I thought he bred Anery P/S x Soderberg Pied Sided ?!
As mentioned above........I might have been mistaken with some of the stuff in my reply. I believe I read somewhere that he had actually bred a McDonald X Soderberg...or at least had an offspring from that pairing. Am watching football and feeding snakes right now, but you could check some of Rob's threads if you have the time. I know both Don and Walter have commented in some of them as well.
I spoke with Rob and Louise at Tinley this year. They had their amazing pied sided on display,( if only he could have been distracted long enough....lol). Rob said that he had done trial breeding between the MacDonald pieds and the Soderberg pieds and found them not to be compatable. He also pointed out that the MacDonald pieds didn't seem to follow the rules of genetic inheritance. It will be fun to watch and see were this progresses. Regardless of the outcome, the animals are beautiful.
