Lava caramels (Topaz) look awesome so I can only imagine lava butter motleys will be even better. Too bad I'll be working with pos hets for a while.

I think you are going to need a male Topaz to prove out some poss hets. Half of them are actually going to be hets, so it isn’t so bad holding onto a few of them. When they prove out, oh my!, plus the “Test” will produce known hets. I hope I produce a couple to get you one this year.

I think I have an Lava Butter and it seem as if the back ground color is a darker richer yellow color than regular Butters. Most butter have a light background color. I think the Lava Butters are going to have two contrasting darker shades of yellow, and of course that Lava saturation of color.

I think the Topaz will be the most desirable morph, but the Amel gene is always nice to have in the mix, so you can produce Lava and Lavamel morphs. I think Lava Butter sounds better than Lavamel Caramels don’t you think?
