Hey
I'm Alex and I've finally convinced my parents to let me get a snake. They won't let me get one that gets big and no pythons, which sucks because a ball python was my first choice. Now I'm thinking about getting a garter, leucistic/bloodred/lavender corn, or green snake.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on getting your parents to let you have a snake as a pet. A lot of people here have multiple different species of snakes so ask lots of questions. It's great that you are checking out the boards for info so that when you get your new pet you will be well informed and have things all set up for them!
