Greetings from Colorado

Hello all! I joined this forum a while back and decided I should finally introduce myself.

My names Bethany, I'm a 17 yr old girl from Colorado. I only recently got hit with the reptile bug so my collection is currently limited to only 1.2 Leopard Geckos, and one little egg in the incubator XD.

I got to hold my first cornsnake a while back and ever since I've absolutely fallen in love with these guys, and all snakes in general really. That and going to the Rocky Mountain Reptile Show last weekend only added fuel to fire, so now I've officially decided that "I've got to get me one of these!"

Can't wait to start checking out some of the threads!

Hi there Bethany,

Hope you had fun at the RMRE. By the way, if you'd like to hear from local herpers, I recommend you join the coloradoherps yahoo mailing group. Not everybody's a corn enthusiast, but myself, Sean @ VMS, and Firedrake are.

The addiction has spread to yet another poor soul, or as some veiw it, lucky soul. This is just my first year having corns but I know the feeling you speak of. I got the buy when I was 13 but couldn't get my snakes till now. Oh and you should post about your Leopard Geckos in one of the off topic threads. I know I'd love to hear updates on them.

Thanks muchly for the welcome all!

midnightline - I'll definitely have to check out the yahoo mailing group, thanks for pointing me in the right direction or I might never have found it!

Joni Garcia - thanks! I'm actually really close to having everything ready for a corn so who knows, those pics just might be coming along in the next month or so. I think the biggest hill I'll have the climb will the finding and then purchasing of said cornsnake, so many options, it maketh my head spin!

Dionythicus - thanks! I'm glad I found this place too, very informative and should be loads of help for a soon to be new snake owner.

Alena - Haha, yeah! The anticipation is killing me, and looking all these gorgeous pics of corns online isn't helping either XD. I'll get some pics of my leos to show off to ya'll too, they're my pride and joy right now
