I am a corn snake owner from South Africa! My name is Meg and I currently have 6 corns with 2 on the way within the next two months and 3 or 4 on order!
Excuse the quality of the shots, crumby camera! lol But here are all my guys in the order I got them and a bit about each of them.
First up is Cornflake, my normal male with unknown hets. He is about 2.5yo now and is BIG for his age and still growing. He is quite a character and I love him to bits!
Next is Battle (his full name is Battle Worm 3000, my bf named him! lol) he is a 1.5yo Anery Motley male. He is an absolute honey and is the calmest and sweetest snake I have ever met!
Then we have Rhett (full name Rhett Butter) a 6mo Butter male. I love this boy! He has such gorgeous colours. I am very excited to see what he looks like when he's mature!
This is Donna (short for Donnatella which means "Beautiful gift") She is a 6mo Fluorescent red Amel, she is actually 3/4 Reverse Okeetee and I think she has the right look to be considered an RO...She is an absolute honey, though she can be a bit clingy, I have a hard time getting her unwrapped from my fingers and back into her tub sometimes.
Then comes Chopstick, my 5mo Caramel female het hypo poss.het amel and Motley. She is the quirkiest snake I have ever met! She like hanging off her water bowl and attacking her pink from above and then swallowing it uphill! She is really outgoing and adventurous! The second I open her tub, she's out of there, exploring! I have to be quick to catch her before she disappears on some wild adventure!
And last but certainly not least, we have Streaky, my gorgeous little amel stripe girl, her parents are actually sunglow stripes, she is pretty bright so I am hoping when she is bigger we will be able to tell for sure if she can be considered a sunglow stripe or not. She is streaky by nature too, boy she is FAST! lol She is also living proof that dynamite comes in small packages! She eats like a pig too!
Well, that's the lot! Hope you enjoyed! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
I will post pics as soon as photobucket decides to work...having problems getting onto photobucket this side!
Hi Meg! I'm glad you found us. Thanks for sharing your snakes with us. They're very pretty and I love their names. Gotta say that Streaky is my favorite. I'll be looking forward to photos of your future additions. Welcome and enjoy your visits.
Lore, you are most welcome! lol My bf named two of the snakes, Battle and Chopstick, both times he was being semi-sarcastic (nice sarcastic) and the names just stuck! lol
Now that I think about it, those two are the only ones he is comfortable holding...lol
