Hello, I'm New and Excited about this site

Name: Kylie Malcomson

Location: Red Deer, Alberta, Canada

Age: 21

Family: I am recently engaged, to Matt Kennedy, on September 29, 2006. Even though until just recently Matt wasn’t to sure on the exact date, he knew it was around the end of September, but the dates ranged from the 26th to the 30th. I guess that is typical in a lot of men though.

Work: I am currently a Full Time Student at Red Deer College; I am enrolled in Legal Assistant Program. I recently learned that I was on the honour roll in my program at RDC. I also am currently searching for a Part Time job to help fund the next year of schooling.

About Me: I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. My parents and entire family reside in Lethbridge. I met Matt during the Under Seventeen Hockey Tournament in Lethbridge in the winter of 2005. In the summer of 2006 we left Lethbridge, the only town I had known as home for the past 20 years, to start new with Matt. We moved into a lovely location in Red Deer, where we have yet to look back. With wedding plans already in the works for sometime in the summer of 2008.

My Corn Snake Story: I was introduced to the addiction of Corn Snakes through Matt. Actually before I started dating Matt his roommate thought he could scare me by showing me Matt’s beloved pet Milton (Matt’s first Corn Snake). At first I was terrified because I thought Milton was a tarantula. My number one fear is tarantulas, well any kind of spider. But, then I notice that she was a snake; I did not know what kind until later that night. But, that night I held her; Matt and his roommate were amazed. Then Matt and I began dating, and then I suggested that Milton needed a friend. So Quincy came (who we thought was male at the time… Nope he was a she), then Chili, then Q-ball, then we sold Quincy, and then the cycle was created we’d buy a snake and find out later it was the wrong sex or something then we’d sell. We currently (well at the moment) have 15 keepers.

My First Corn: I am going to say it was Chili, our Normal male , Matt’s going to say no because he bought Chili, but I was the one that fell in love with him and mother him. I am delighted to say he is my pride and joy. BUT my first purchase was a Miami Phase named Kaluha, but we sold her this August at the Red Deer show because we didn’t want to specialize in Miami Phases, plus we had no future partner for her.

That is about all I can think of for now. I look forward to reading all the future and past posts and hope to give helpful opinions of my own as often as possible. AND I can’t wait for this years clutches and all those hatchlings .
