Hi all. My name is Mike and I'm from Lafayette, LA. I'm looking at getting a corn snake hatchling soon and have been doing alot of reading to gain some knowledge before I buy anything. I currently have a 10g tank thats set up for a new corn, with the right temps already set. I'm leaning towards getting an Okeetee or Bloodred. I'm guessing I'll eventually get one of each.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks for all of the info I've already gotten from everyone.
Good to have some one new that takes the time to do research first Hats off to you Mike .But Corns are like potato chips cant stop at just one .LOL The only thing i may suggest it not to put a newly hatched corn in some thing as big as a ten gallon try to Keep it in a smaller tub inside the tank till it is feeding good at the new home first and lots of snug hides on both sides ,remember baby's don't go to far from home in the wild to many predators out there that like baby snakes on snakes. Please let us know with pics what you get first
