Another Albertan newbie!

Hi everyone! My name is Tamara, I am 25. I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I got my first corn (normal, unsexed) in January... i named him/her Gus, and he/she is currently ~ 7 months old. He's shed twice already and likes to burrow/tunnel in his bedding. I am waiting on 2 new corns at the moment, they will ship the first week of April.... I'm so excited! The 2 i am waiting for are both males, one is a Fire (amel. bloodred) and the other is a Dilute Pastel Anery Motley.

Just wanted to say hey, and introduce myself.

Hello and Welcome!

I must say you have a nice taste in morphs. Welcome to the addiction...in another year, you'll have 10 or more corns. It only gets worse from there! LOL

Hi Mum2gus welcome to the source, and the corn addiction you seem to have already. Hopefully we can look forward to pic's.
I do have a question tho. You say Gus is 7 months old but shed only 2 times. Is Gus eating the sheds perhaps? I ask as the hatchlings here shed about every 4 week.
Enjoy the addiction, and congrads on the new ones coming in April..

Thumbs up And another Albertan

Welcome to the Source.
I am also from Edmonton and a member of The Edmonton Reptile and Amphibian Society. I have been enjoying the addiction for 15 years now, and own and breed
predominately Corn snakes of various morphs.
Are you aware of the Reptile show in Edmonton, May 24-25 at the Sands Hotel?
There will be many local enthusiasts to meet and share info with.

Hope you enjoy the addiction.

Thanks for the warm welcome every one.

Katty - I'll for sure be at the ERAS show.... and i'm also going to the red deer one in august too. I'm an ERAS member (new) as well, though my cards got lost in the mail... so i'm waiting on new ones. LOL!!

Mysterry - Sorry, I should've mentioned that we've only had him since January 17th (he was 5 months old). I guess that puts him at the right frequency.
