Hi You Guys!

Hi, I'm Nanci, I am the proud owner of one lovely cornsnake, Maizey. Maize is the snake that, about a year and a half ago, in the midst of a horrific bout of pneumonia, re-ignited my life-long love of snakes. Those of you that I know from the Other Site know that I have since had other loves in my life, but Maize remains the best-loved member of the family- overseeing all the action from her throne in the kitchen. Whenever I need an old reliable snake- to go for a walk outside, to introduce children to the wonders of snakes, to practice new photo techniques with- she's my girl. Some day, I am sure she will be joined by another, and another, and another...

Welcome aboard, Nanci!

Maize looks like a beautiful snake. Funny how we all seem to have a snake named Maize.

Hi Nancy and Welcome.

Sounds like Maize has a special place in your family. And I really admire your self-restraint. By the time our first corn was a year and a half old, there were already umpteen more added to the fold.

Enjoy the site.
