Looking forward to participating in this site

I'm a new corn snake owner as of April 10, 2008. I'm really looking forward to gaining as much knowledge from the wide variety of forums offered. Hope to be able to chat with as many of you as I can.

My corn snake is a normal female, named Lucy. Not sure exactly how old she is, but she is fourteen inches. She is very close to shedding, within a couple of days i think. She has a very healthy appetite on frozen pinkies. Very gentle and easy to handle, Lucy has already turned my snake hating wife into an interested, corn curious soon to be snake lover.....she has already suggested i move the vivarium into the living room.

Hpoefully, I will be able to add a male to my collection from this years batch. My hope is to try breeding. How knows, maybe with some luck, my wife will allow me more than two corns.

Look forward to seeing you very soon

Welcome.......you have come to the right place to learn a bit more and meet some great and knowledgeable people. Don't worry about your wife.....if she is already wanting the viv in the living room, it won't be long before you have tubs and racks filled with corns. LOL

Post up some pics when you get the chance and welcome again.

Warm greetings from London, England.

There are many forums but only one is truely The Source. Enjoy your time here and don't forget to post a pick of the wife's new best friend!!

Two bits of advice..........

.....make sure the pinkies are thawed before feeding them to the corns (sounds obvious, but just in case) and secondly plan for a lot more than two corns.....it's an addiction!!!

Cheers,
Patrick.
