I just wanted to share this! After about 5 or more years of struggling with Alzheimer's disease and various illnesses, we are finally going to get home health care for my grandma. I kept on asking my aunt to help me because she is the person first in line as Power of Attorney. Last weekend I finally convinced her that it was time to call someone.

This is a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. I've felt a lot of greif and guilt over all of this. My grandma and grandpa raised me and there they were getting worse and worse, and I couldn't do anything about it . So tomorrow is the first big step.

They are going to come out for the first evaluation and assesment, to see what kind of care she qualifies for. We also found out that at least some of it is covered by her Medicare insurance.
