How I spent my New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year's, everyone! I work for a company that sponsors the MPC Bowl every year. So I got free tickets to the game. I was excited! I don't even really like football all that much, but I wanted to go....just to go! So I went to the pre-game activities first. Our company had a tent set up with food and drinks for the employees. I sat and chatted with folks I knew, and also met some new people. I watched a live band play. Pigged out on hot chocolate and BBQ sandwiches. The game started, and everything was going great. My boss sat next to me for most of the first half, but left right before halftime. Right after halftime started, I got up to stretch, but the crappy rent-a-seat I was sitting on got stuck, and I fell down 2 or three rows of bleachers!!! I was SO embarrassed. Everyone around me helped me up and everything. They held the pressure on my head while I bled all over the place. The medics came and put a bandage on my head and recommended I go to the ER, and so I went. I spent about an hour and a half waiting and then getting cleaned up. No stiches thank goodness. But here's what I look like! I'll have a big nasty bruise on my forehead, and may even get a black eye. Lovely, huh? Just wanted to vent and share.
