Folklore/Beliefs/History of snakes
I'm interested in hearing all different stories about snakes.
Snakes in religion, folklore, different beliefs...... For example: I don't know the full history of this one, but I have a necklace with a snake in a figure eight, celtic star in the middle. This necklace is said to bring good fortune/wellbeing. Does what I'm asking for make sense? I'm just beginning to find it interesting, all the tidbits I hear of snakes and the meanings of them. I know vaguely that different religions think they are bad, some good. I want to know more, the history of what makes it so. I hope I made sense.
