Escaped corn... good kitty

Well last night my kitty Shadow was looking at something in the corner bookshelf and I just had a feeling by the way she was acting that it was something bigger than a spider. So I went and looked under my bookshelf. Nothing there. I was ready to just go back to bed but the cat started pawing at some books on the bottom shelf. I took them out and found one of my new anery mot hatchlings curled up behind them. There were only a few places it could have escaped from, so I quickly found the tub with a snake missing. These are sterilite shoebox tubs with a big rubber band holding each one closed. I have put an extra rubber band on all of them but I think I may need to put binder clips on everything instead. I am just glad that my cat was able to point out to me exactly where the snake was without harming it at all. She's getting extra food tonight! This is the first time I've EVER found an escaped snake (before I knew it was gone, even!)
