A little side project
I wrote this recently. It uses an evolutionary algorithm to explore a bunch of possible "rule sets" for a cellular automaton.
Serpentine Widgets - EA for Conway's Game Of Life It's fun to watch and see what kinds of things it comes up with. (You can click on a species to view it in a bigger window...)
