Grandpa's birthday present

My grandpa turns 83 in December. Last week he told me about a B-17 bomber that would be at our local military base for a tour. He heard a little bit about it on the evening news and wanted me to get more info on it. So I went online and looked up the B-17. It's a plane called the Liberty Belle. They were offering tours and flights, as well. The flights were $430 a piece I paid half and my aunt paid the other half. So my grandpa got to fly in the B-17!! He was in WWII, but had never flown in one before. He was in the army as a medic and never saw any combat, but still is a veteran. Here is a link to the webpage of the plane.
