The Official Birthday Bash Poll...Take 2!

You can vote on multiple days. What I'd really like to see is to pick one day...but hey, if you guys wanna party for days...it's up to you.

I'll leave the poll open until December 1st...look over your calendar and vote.

To be fair...to everyone...you have the choices...I just had the idea and was 'stupid' enough to go public with it... And as every good organizer knows... you gotta listen to what the folks want, then plan around it.


Here's my thoughts...


Well I've looked over my (very limited) Social Calendar for the Christmas Season and have chosen some dates.

I am heading south to celebrate an early Christmas with family and friends. I will be away from December 15 - 22 and most likely won't have reliable computer access...so if you folks want me to plan the BASH, then let's see what we can come up with....

Since it is a 'virtual' party and we don't have to worry about 'drinking and driving' ... ...or 'having to get up for work in the morning' ... , I haven't limited the options to just a weekend.

So that we can cover and allow for all our time differences for the international membership status we now can boast of, I thought an 'all day' Bash might suit our purposes better.



Our European membership is 5 hours ahead of the Eastern Provinces and States, and 8 hours ahead of the West Coast membership. If we started the party around noon hour...for you "Party People" that shouldn't be a problem... ...then everybody would have a chance to just drop in for a drink or two... .




Now, I'm going to need some volunteers! What ever day we choose, whether that be a weekday or weekend, we can't expect ONE PERSON (little old me...for example) to host the entire party. After one or two drinks (yup, I'm a cheap drunk... ) I won't be able to keep the letters straight on the keyboard...so I'm asking...pleading...for additional folks to help me man the chat room and make it 'inviting' to all who want to stop by.

Please put yourself on a list here if you can 'volunteer'; if you have specific time restraints, let me know.

I've never organized a virtual BIRTHDAY BASH before and I'm sure I'm forgetting something... ...oh yah....who wants to make the cake????
