rescued bp in shed?

hey there i just got a bp 2days ago its about 2.5-3 ft long and i was handling it 2day. he crawled into some thing and wen i took him out i noticed his skin about lower neck was pealed. so i wet it and pulled a little and it was his shed now it was about 1/4inch size patch and my friend at the shelter said he looks to be in shed.... so i never experienced this with corns. so should i peal i may be wont get much off or just let him hang out. p.s i soaked him today in warm h2o.

he was found in an abandoned apartment and the people at the shelter remembered me the "snake kid" and handed him over
