But I have always adored the chunky-stocky-heavy-bodied snakes. I thought that they all got to be 6 feet long and had to be housed in a bedroom sized viv.
Then I come across the kenyan and rough scale boas....
Are they truly the cornsnake of the boa world?
The 2 breeder sites I have run acrosss Jason's Jungle and ???? forgot the name talk about how docile they are.
I have discovered:
reach 2-4 feet in length.
do not eat much/often once full grown
are easy to handle
housed in a 20 gallon viv
My dad (yes I am nearly 40 but he still looks out for me ) said all boas are bitey and have gigantic poo.
Looking for HONEST opinions from any and all.
I am the primary (read here only) caregiver...
I want a snake I can handle (being on the shorter side and not real heavy myself) or even our young boys can handle, and that can be housed on a 20 gallon long viv (give or take a few gallons).
Thank you!!!!
PS Also looking for trusted breeders...I am in Minnesota in the cities.
