May showers bring... well, flowers.

Spring is pushing forth and the early flowers are all coming out. It's so sad that in a week or two, they'll be gone, but on a rainy May day today, they look beautiful!

Oh what beautiful pictures! Did my heart a world of good seeing those, especially today. It's the 3rd of May and we have a snowstorm...again!!!! This winter has seemed exceptionally long; we had one week of snow melt, yup all gone...and now 2 days of rain, snow, and combos of both at the same time.

Spring flowers make me realize...somewhere out there, it's spring!

Beautiful pictures. I have quite a fwe spring bulb flowers just now. And some suprises too. There were some apricot coloured ones but dark pink have come up instead..Im not complaining! My faves are yet to come and nearly there....Queen of the night a deep purple. Very similar to yours. Ive planted them with white daffodils, the contrast should be pretty!
Thanks for this thread, cant get enough of flowers!

I love Tulips! I seem to have trouble naturalizing them where I am, a few varieties have come back the following year - but in much smaller numbers than I planted.
