My "thing" is hosta's. Love em. They are one plant that survives and flourishes in our sandy soil. ( of course, we water regularly, and I treat them almost as well as my snakes.)

My front garden, which we completely redid in the fall:
We put in our own sprinkler system, and since hosta's prefer water from below instead of ontop of their foliage, this garden has 8-12 bubbling sprinkler heads to water it from below. I will make sure I get some pics of the finished product once it's all in bloom in the spring/early summer.

I also enjoy my lilies very much. I'm eagarly awaiting spring, but I think I'll be waiting a bit, considerring our winter just started .
