Thanks. I'm sure she will. I got her in 05 but I think she might be an 04. In any case, she ate wonderfully for me and then stopped over the winter and then started again. She stopped this time in Sept. and has lost a little bit of weight but overall looks good. As a mother I find it very difficult when anyone in the house isn't eating! If she does not eat soon I will have to try and find a frog to scent the food with. Just what I need another pet!

LOL...I've got a tank of tree frogs just for that very purpose! Although my little rescue hoggie has finally eaten 3 unscented meals!
Beautiful little hoggie, Paul!

Thanks everyone. I don't know how well this one eats, will find out soon. I have always wanted to keep green tree frogs as I like their chirping, so this may be a good way to get something else that I want. But where to put them?
I have a retired scenting toad who lives with my tortoises! He thinks their water crock is his soaking pool...I feed him like a snake- put him in a feeding container with his crickets, and take him out when he has eaten his fill.
that is so cool. We have a couple of Gulf Coast toads that think our dogs water dish is their soaking dish. I have taken a few in and fed them on occasion. But they stay wild.
I've kept & still breed western hognose morphs for the past 12 years. It's been my experience that breeder size male tend to go off feed in September. My females will usually quit feeding by mid October.
After brumation they readily begin eating again. I have one male that refuses to eat until he has begun breeding. He is the only one out of 5 males that is like that. He has always been that way & I doubt that he'll ever change.
Best of luck with yours! They are very entertaining!
