I only went home with 2 new snakes after the show this past weekend. one was the adult female snake that was given to me as a corn, but may end up being a rat.
The other was this little guy. I should have a female for him from the same breeder next month.
don't give up, they will. This guy just ate last thursday, so I haven't tried feeding him. Supposedly, the breeder has them on both live and F/T, so I will start out this coming Thursday with a live pink and see what happens.
Thanks. I'm sure she will. I got her in 05 but I think she might be an 04. In any case, she ate wonderfully for me and then stopped over the winter and then started again. She stopped this time in Sept. and has lost a little bit of weight but overall looks good. As a mother I find it very difficult when anyone in the house isn't eating! If she does not eat soon I will have to try and find a frog to scent the food with. Just what I need another pet!
lol. well good luck. Do you by chance have a male? if she put herself in brumation, and you can get her back up to weight, you should be able to get some eggies.
I purposely don't have a male. She was a present for my husband who thought Hoggies looked like the Swedish! He even named her after a Swedish girl he once knew. (I am such a good wife!) She is just a pet.

I have always thought that they looked like the back-end of a Honda CRX......you know, like when they were designing the car and the engineers were testing the crash rating. They just put the vehicle in reverse, at full speed into a steel wall and thought: "Wow, that is one cool looking car, now."
Anyway, good job Paul. Now granted it's not the gray-bands that you were "eyeing".......but it's still a new snake(s) to the collection. I imagine that after awhile you will have me turned on to them, also. Congrats again.
