Third Clutch pipping pictures

Father: Anery Het Amel

Mother: Banded Miami

This is the start of my first official project. I have always loved the colors of the Anery and the pattern of a Banded Miami, so I thought I would try and get a banded pattern on an Anery. Tried this last year, but she didn't take, but this year, she has given me 2 clutches, so I can start the project now.

And the first baby to poke its head out:

the color of the head on that one is very surprising. I was expecting hatchlings that looked more like normals instead of Miami's. Hope that the banding passes along just as well as the colors did.

I was thinking the same thing.......it looked to be carrying some very nice red/silver coloration on it. Can't wait to see all of them out of the egg and post shed......

Congrats buddy.

Thanks Gronk. I got her from Carol about 2 years ago, maybe less. I am hoping that the colors on these hatchlings turn out as good as they look right now.
