Well, as some of you may remember, my wife fell in love with Rainbow Boas about a year ago, and since then we have gotten 4 of them. 2 - 1 year old females, a 2 year old male, and a female that is supposedly gravid, and should be giving birth shortly.
Well, I got her a great holiday present a little early. The most that I ever spent on snakes, but introducing the two newest members to the PCar's Reptiles' stock. No names as of yet.
Great lookers Paul.......glad you felt up to getting some pics taken after picking them up. Those two are going to make some sweet looking babies for sure.
Congrats to you and Marlene....hope you get rid of the bug pretty soon. Take care.

Thanks everyone. These were born this year, so it will be a few years before they produce, but I can't wait. The are both better looking than I was expecting, and I too can't wait to see babies from them.
The female finally ate for me on her own about 2 weeks after I got her home. she is on the docket to eat again tonight or tomorrow...depending on my work schedule.
The males still aren't eating, so I am going to brumate them for a couple of weeks and see if that kick starts their appetite. They haven't lost any weight, so I am not too worried about them, but will see what happens.

Good to hear she is doing well.

Some more of mine, are finally starting to eat on their own. Personally, I would keep force feeding them a couple more weeks, and see if they start by then. At this point, it is only a matter of time before they start eating.
On the corn issue, Ive been talking to KJ, he is pretty much the guy in the know, with TPWD. Apparently it was a huge mistake, and one of the upper echelon guys in TPWD is pretty pissed at some of his people under him, who have corns and mice on the black list. It appears that it is a simple mistake that should be taken care of. The only question is when, and will anybody in LE be pricks if it goes into effect before it is fixed.
Thanks Mike. I finally saw KJ's post on the other forum, and was reading through that. Gathered the mistake info from there. Hope that it gets resolved pretty quickly.
