OK, make that the past three months or so. Lili von Shtupp is entering her terrible twos, and has started to develop an attitude. She'll tail-whip, bluff, not bluff and lightly tag, and spin like an airplane propellor to avoid being handled. She was relatively calm up until recently.
But she's got the looks and the genes for me to hang on to her (literally and figuratively) anyway. She's an '05 hypo het lavender from Cedar Creek Corns stock.
She's actually big enough to breed now, but I don't want to risk anything until she's a full three years old.
Besides, I've gotta get her mellowed out first.
In "escape mode", I love this shot because of how difficult it was to follow her. It reminds me of the bad photos taken at drunken frat parties.
And finally, when she does settle down and stops trying to escape, she's bound and determined to get in my face....I was actually restraining her from "charging the mound", as it were.
Thanks for looking!
Dale
