2008 pairings: Champagne Pink (Troubadour x Swan)
Swan, bred & owned by Don Soderberg, was a bit of an ugly duckling as a hatchling but has matured into one of my favorites for her nearly patternless pearlescent pale pink. Troubadour is my Champagne male from Bayou.
I also have a female Champagne from Bayou, Ballerina, who has been successfully paired with Prince, my neon pink snow male from Stephen Wagner. So we'll get to see if those two kinds of pink are compatible. Last edited by poppycorn : 03-25-08 at 03:03 PM. Reason: correction |

Wow Whee what a superb pair. Love that pink. I think I'm going to need a bigger rack; my wishlist keep growing with every new pairing!

Oh my, Troubadour is mind blowing! I love the pink on white neck markings. He reminds me of pictures of opals that I have seen. Is a Champagne a line bred snow or do they have Hypo mixed in as well? I can't remember. Those snakes definitely have something special going on!

Swan
Here's a better photo of Swan. She's not real bright pink but there's a luminous quality about her that has a real nice effect to see in person. I've taken scores of photos trying to capture it, this is about as good as I could get, which isn't close at all. She actually belongs to Don Soderberg but I am hoping he forgets I still have her here.
