I bought some small coffee filters from Serpenco to try them out but they still don't fit right unless you tear the small ring around the edge off. If I could find something that fit perfect in the bottom without altering that would be sweet. I'm all for little tricks to save time cleaning. Lol.

Hey Rob,

I got mine at a hobby store in northern Cali where I used to live. I haven't seen one around here yet. I was able to find them on a few websites though. Check these out:

http://www.amazon.com/Olfa-Compass-C.../dp/B000BK7NWC

http://www.artstuff.net/olfa_compass_cutter.htm

http://www.thecrazyquilter.com/compasscutter.htm

https://www.hancocks-paducah.com/Ite...m-253_262.html

Hope that helps.

I just keep cutting the circle down through the layers until I reach the bottom. I you get a thick section of newspaper it could be about 20 layers when closed.

I use newspaper at home actually. I tried cutting paper towels but it's not pretty. You might as well just tear them. Lol. Not really but you know what I mean.

Has anyone been able to find these in Canada? If so, where? I take it the actual name of the tool is a Compass Cutter?

Thanks
