fresh home from work, and lovin it.

On night's like this, when my wife babysits my friend's little one who also works with me. The first thing I do is snap on the living room light. Quietly zip up the stairs, and fetch the sleeping four year old from her bed. And back down again I go. Tendonitis in the knees sucks going down stairs carrying a forty pound kid! Funny how she really doesn't even wake up! Hand her over to my buddy John. And out they go for a few blocks drive to their place.

Then I spin around, head through the house, with my yellow lab close at my heels. I hit the power button to the puter, then take a few more steps and let the dog out the backdoor to uh, do his duty.

Then while puter is loading up, I usually go back into the living room where you can see most of the snakes out and about since it was dark in there when I got home. I'm definetly noticing the size some have put on lately. When the adults first went into hibernation I had doubts that some of my 05s would be able to handle the huge adult females. But now I think they'll be fine.

Then had to wade through my 06s. Just to look. I just gotta look em all over and smile to myself. Cause they are all so beautiful! Some could sure use a kick in the butt in the area of growing. But I suppose it'll all come in good time.

Okeetees! I have NO idea how I am going to part with any of them! All of Eds kids are gorgeous! Their orange background color is really starting to come in strong. Will have to get some updated pics. But not tonight. Tonight I'm just rambling on. How I enjoy coming home and spending a few moments looking over my collection. Pulling out a snake here and there, and just admiring their intense beauty. For me, this hobby isn't about how much it can add to my check book. You don't see me coming home and pulling out my checkbook and oohing and aaahing over that...LMAO!

Nope, I prefer to ooh and aahh over things the general public refuses to stop and REALLY take a look. Well...nuff rambling for now...have some pics to look at. enjoy. And enjoy those moments where you just sit and look through stuff. That's so much fun! Plus I guess at the same time it's a good husbandry tool as you notice things that need tending.

And of course somewhere in there I get done bugging my snakes and I check out what's new on the various forums I go to. And sometimes Chuck is still up...wow...the man never sleeps...LOL!

Gorgeous babies and enjoy your musings - can relate to the fun of cruising through the collection just to look at them - part of the satisfaction of breeding is really watching them mature - seeing what you produced develop and watching the resemlance to parents and grandparents - fun stuff!!
