Wow, I didn't know fedex delivered worms! Is there some sort of special going on? Free earthworms with every box you buy?
Lol, nice looking little bebbies though! I suck at naming corn morphs but I'm gonna hazard a guess that the first one is either a normal or a bloodred. The 2nd one caramel???? IDK could be a LAVA too. If I really wanted to cheat I'd go look em up but I'm at work. Maybe later on

Isn't it interesting what one can see in run of the mill normal corns? The variation in normal corns can be quite extensive! You wouldn't even need specific morphs so to speak to get a wide variation. And from the get go you could select for different aspects in a line. In a few generations of breeding similar looks in a genetically close group can get you where you want real quick.
Anyhow...these guys are locality corns from Daniel Parker of Sunshine Serpents. He breeds a couple different groups of locality corns from snakes he himself has collected from different areas of the state of Florida. I first saw his website a couple years ago and liked the look of his Devil's Garden cornsnake project. So this past winter I put some money down on two pairs of his Devil's Garden corns. Then about a month later I decided I'd get two pairs of Central Florida corns as well. So I recieved 8 baby corns total.
The two female Central Florida corns have the white bellies with minimal checking. The males look like run of the mill normal corns. Three of the Devil's Garden corns are very dark red almost black at this time. I've got the space and plenty of mice to gladly raise them all up for a year and then make a decision of what I'm going to do. Some of the pics on Daniel's site got me quite interested as did a few snakes he's sold on kingsnake.com from the two projects. The Devil's Garden corns have the potential to be carrying the Anery gene as Anerys do pop up in the population in that area and have popped up in his clutches of this line.
So that's these guys story. They are locality normals het for nothing. Well, maybe anery in the case of the Devil's Garden group! Even with all the morphs and combos going on, I still love the coloration of normal corns! But with them it's about intensity of one thing or another. Like, I like em real read, or real light bright orange, or with lots of black aka Okeetees... Cause you can get a real plain jane looking normal corn. Enjoy the pics!

Wow ok you stumped the noob lol. #2 and #4 in the pics you just posted are really really nice looking! I love a dark colored snake and having all that black with just the little bit of yellow they are really really cool. I'd like to see the progression on these guys! Thanks for sharing and enlightening a little bit
