Some ramblings...should do that every now and then...

Well...today I checked my reservations for the hotel for Tinley. All good! I've put in for registration stickers with the ACR for the baby corns that are coming to the show. Will be a small pile of 15 coming. My big thing this year will be my pile of Northern Pines. Four of them are already spoken for! Might even bring one of my yearling males to sell. But still unsure.

Am considering letting a pair of Abbotts go. I bought two pair last year from Lee himself and he threw in an extra female for putting my money up the winter previous for them which helped him out on a mouse bill. So that was VERY nice of him! But I've now raised them up a year and feel I can now make some decision about just how many Okeetees I really need around here!

And for the first time I'll have baby Northern Mexican Pines aka Jani for sale. Already the females are spoken for. But the remaining males are top notch! And I'll even have a baby male black pine on the table to boot. It's going to be a very nice and much needed vacation!

So...how many of YOU are going to show up at Tinley this year? Stop by the table and say hello! I'll be with Chuck and Connie at CCCorns. Took some pictures tonight. Funny to think it's almost time to start thinking of shutting the adults down for the winter! Time flies WAY too fast!

Oh, bad Russell! Husband is -not- allowed to see the pines. And don't bring anything caramel-y or ultramel-y to the show either, 'kay? We're making a holiday of it with a stop at the Reptile Gardens in Rapid City on our drive up this year.

Well, if I felt we had the room I'd bring one of the ADULT Pines to the show and make a display of sorts. But from what I'm hearing, we don't have that kind of room! Even with the reduced number I'm bringing! And oops, I'm sorry, I'll have THREE Ambers and TWELVE baby Northern Pines...hee hee hee! So better keep him away from the table till the second day... Good luck with that!

Looking forward to seeing you two again! This year will be Rebecca's first Tinley show! I'm wondering how well that's going to go over...hmmm... Maybe we'll park her over at Kathy's table and let her make the wooden frogs sing...he he he
